Flashback Friday - 5th Anniversary

Saturday was our 5 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going to the Texas Roadhouse for some steak & ribs. It was really nice to be able to smile after the trying week we had.

These are the hands that will tenderly lift your chin and brush your cheek as they raise your face to look into his eyes. These are the hands that look so young now, but you will have the joy of watching them grow old and weathered as they are used up in love for you. Kristina, place a kiss in the hand of your love and never forget how precious they are.

These are the hands that are soft, gentle yet will smell of detergent and bleach at the end of some days. These are the hands that will work long hours making your home for you and your children. These are the hands that will massage tension from your neck and back in the evening as the pressures of life and the responsibility of family bear upon you. These are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick and console you when you are grieving. These are the hands that look so young now.
